![]() It was originally part of a longer scene where the Ghostbusters are called to an old Civil War era fort that's being haunted. ![]() ![]() The interesting thing is that it was originally NOT intended as a dream sequence. Then after Ray's eyes go cross-eyed, it cuts back to the shot of him asleep in the upstairs bunk room with the other guys. ![]() There's also the fact that the shot they're fading away from is a shot of Ray asleep upstairs in the firehouse bunk, and that fades in to a shot of Ray asleep alone in a room, dressed as a Civil War officer. There's the wavy fadeaway and the strumming of harp music, which were classic indicators that a dream sequence is happening.
